I'm reading this book, written by David Holmgren. It's about a farm Holmgren bought in Australia (Hepburn) in the eighties. The high value added by this publication is the real example of a farm managed applying permaculture principles. The book is divided into several chapters. Everyone describes one aspect of the design: the purchase of the land, watter supply, house and barns construction, infrastructure and fencing, gardens, ...
The author not only mentions the good chosen design but also the failings and how correct them.
It's the first time I buy an electronic version of a book. It's cheaper and it's well-customized to be read in a computer.
